The trailhead is clearly marked at Whisman Park, one of many small green spaces along Stevens Creek Trail. Turn right to follow the trail towards the bay, staying on the right side of the two-lane paved path. Enjoy the Bay Breezes, tunnels, and bridges, then more and more birds as you get closer to the Bay. The trail opens up from initial shade as you get closer to the Bay, with views of the creek on the right and down a steep slope. Follow this sunny path as it curves sharply then uphill to enter Shoreline Park. You’ll see more traffic along the Shoreline Park access road, then find nice benches with sunny views of the bay, among ground squirrel homes and the occasional nesting goose. Return back the way you came.
