Come one, come all to the 4th Annual Stroller Hikes Annual Craft Party. We’ll offer craft opportunities for all ages, 18 months or older. Every year, we encourage classic gifts made from the heart, and we think these little crafts make nice gifts for teachers, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. Gifts this year will likely be:
- Paper, Dried Plant, and Wax Luminaries (for older kids or parent help)
- Felt Candy Cane Mice (an easy craft for all ages)
- Scented Reusable Drier Sheets (an easy craft for all ages)
- Travel Map Luggage Tags (an easy craft for all ages)
- Cones of Vanilla Sugar (an easy craft for all ages)
Craft party participants can drop in any time between 10 AM and noon on Saturday, December 7th, and do the crafts of their choice. We’ll have directions and supplies for everyone, so parents can facilitate crafting with their kids. Snacks will be available, and there’s always great conversation, as this is a great chance for families that haven’t been able to hike together for a while, to get together. Please don’t plan to make tons of each craft, but each child is welcome to make one of each and take the insight from the party with you, so you can repeat the crafts at home, if you really like the craft and have a long holiday gift list. This year, we have a lot of support from our sponsors: Sports Basement, BJ’s Brewhouse, Raley’s, and Jessica Kazmucha of DoTerra.
This year’s party will be at Sports Basement, 1177 Kern Avenue, Sunnyvale from 10 AM to noon on Saturday, December 7th in the Summit Room (back corner of the store). We hope to see you there! We welcome donations at the event towards Stroller Hikes, but this year’s event will be FREE thanks to supply donations from our sponsors. Please complete our Craft Party RSVP Form so we know how many people to expect, what ages, and what you plan to make. Invite your friends and neighbors and ask them to RSVP as well!
