Stevens Creek Stroller Run (Mountain View)
When Tue, January 3, 9:00am – 10:30am
Where Creekside Park, Gladys Street and Easy Street, Mountain View, CA (map)
Description Join our little Stroller Hikes running gang and learn how helpful social motivation is, for keeping a fitness regime going. We alter our pace, break locations/times, and goals to work with the group, but all members of this group are dedicated to getting a good workout and moving quickly with their kids. We’ll run, walk/run, or speedwalk this wonderful, wide, paved trail from Creekside Park toward the Bay, enjoying shade for about a mile, then some sun and breezes, before turning back to return the way we came. If you make it to the bridge and back (a common goal), the distance is about 4 miles, so this is a good training run for a 5K. Bring any kind of stroller that works for you to move quickly – some members use joggers, and others use small-wheeled strollers. We’ll play at the playground to start or end this event. Meet at Creekside Park at the intersection of Easy Street and Gladys in Mountain View. If you’re running late, call Lani at 650-814-5197.

Any baby transport will work, but we’ll encourage walkers to walk. For directions of information about the trail, see The Los Alamitos Creek Trail Page. If it’s hot (over 80 degrees F), we’ll play in the fountain or on the beach, so bring swimsuits and towels. If you’re running late, call Ann at 408-348-7233.
